OKLAHOMA CITY -- A new addition to St. Anthony Hospital's state-of-the-art, $30 million Margaret Vessels Love Surgery Center combines the technology of a minimally invasive cath lab and an open-heart operating room.

Called the "operating room of the future," the center's endovascular suite opened in July 2007 and houses digital technology that allows for 360-degree images of the area being treated. With the technology, such conditions as renal artery stenosis (hardened renal artery), a broad range of abdominal procedures and more difficult conditions such as stroke (cerebral) and aortic aneurysms can be treated.
